Hi Ruwida. Greetings from Australia. Congratulations on your freedom and its good to contact someone from Benghazi. Can you tell me what you need to secure victory? Do you need foreign ground troops or are you able to do this on your own?

dear Paul ,its really nice to meet ppl from the far Austrailia , and even the best is to see them in my blog , thanks for your congragulations , we hope to get it all so soooooooooon , what we need is the full victory against Mr.Killer , cuz what we passed in 42 years was bad but the worst happened now , we got a decision and we started this revoultion our selves we can do it , but you know we are youth and civilians , we have never used guns b4 so we needed the international community to stand with us to kick his forecd guns , as you know the eastern side of libya liberted in 4 days , but we have to continue , we want libya free , and we can do it if we have the enough guns , thats what we need , you cant belive that we are looking for the day to the end of this crises and we get rid of all that guns , what we want is only freedom ............and soon we will do it

Hi Ruwida. You know it took many years to create a new Iraqi army. It's not so simple to just give someone some weapons and they can start winning wars. I don't think it is fair that Gaddafi can hire foreign mercenaries, but the rebels can't have foreign help.

But you will make military history if you can be ushered to victory from the air, which is what everyone is hoping will happen.

Would it be possible to start a forum with more people from Benghazi to discuss what options exist for victory? If the forum allows both Arabic and English, we can use google translate. What is the internet situation like in Benghazi? Do people at least have email access? What are you using? Satellite?
